The RT2S Magnet Wire Stripper from The Eraser company strips fine magnet wire from 48 to 28 gauge through the use of rotating fiberglass stripping wheels.

Eraser's unique cone shaped fiberglass wheel design makes close up stripping possible on all types of components and film insulations.

The use of fiberglass wheels instead of blades allows for friction to whisk away the insulation without any damage to the conductor.

Eraser offers a range of fiberglass stripping wheels depending on your wire size. A wheel dresser can be used to help prolong the life of the fiberglass stripping wheels.

North East oil and gas cable-maker Duco Ltd is working on a significant £250m contract with oil giant Chevron North Sea Ltd to manufacture subsea technology for a North Sea project.

Sumitomo Expands Scottsville Presence

With the groundbreaking Friday for a new building in Allen County, Sumitomo Electrical Wiring Systems will have a bigger place in the county’s economic landscape. 

The company will occupy a $2.5 million warehouse, which will be owned by the Allen County-Scottsville Industrial Development Authority and leased to Sumitomo.

While no new jobs are expected immediately, it could mean some in the long term. Sumitomo currently employs 194 people in Scottsville, with an annual payroll of $7.6 million.
