LLFlex Restructures Business Segments, Including Two Senior-Level Executive Promotions
12 Jul 2019
LLFlex – a global leader in packaging materials and industrial laminate solutions for the building & construction, wire & cable, tobacco and other consumer packaging industries – is restructuring its company into two major business segments: Packaging and Industrial Laminates.
Moving forward, LLFlex’s Packaging division is led by newly appointed Business Segment Director Kelley Stearman, and includes the company’s solutions for the consumer, tobacco and healthcare markets. The Industrial Laminates Segment is led by Cheryl Craig, who also has been elevated to a Business Segment Director role; this division includes LLFlex’s solutions for the wire & cable, building & construction and other industrial markets. For their respective segments, Stearman and Craig are responsible for implementing strategic growth initiatives and deploying sales and marketing plans, as well as managing the LLFlex global sales force and its network of agents and partners.
The reorganization provides LLFlex with a more streamlined service approach, allowing the company to maximize its other inherent competitive advantages. These include an expanded global footprint; recent facilities upgrades including new manufacturing technologies and other capital investment; innovative product ideation; and value-added industry partnerships. Each of these strengths has allowed LLFlex to offer optimized customer service, and helped reaffirm the company’s legacy as a leader in the industries it serves.
Craig has been with LLFlex and its successor companies for more than 30 years, most recently serving as Commercial Director for International Sales. In this role, she directed sales and marketing activities across the US and UK. Prior to LLFlex, she held positions with Rank Group and Alcoa/Reynolds Packaging – where, among her many career milestones, Craig patented a solution involving alternate alloys for armored cables.
Stearman also brings many years of experience with LLFlex and its legacy companies. She started her career as an engineering Co-op student in the company’s Louisville, KY facility and has held positions with increasing levels of responsibility spanning Account Manager to Senior R&D Engineer to, most recently, Business Manager of the company’s Tobacco Packaging segment.
“This realignment of our business segments, in combination with new leadership, will allow LLFlex to present a more cohesive brand and expanded value proposition to the industries and customers we serve,” said Victor Dixon, CEO of LLFlex. “The core pillars of the organization remain unchanged but with the experience and leadership that Cheryl and Kelley provide we continue to build upon our deep industry expertise, global presence, responsive supply chain, best-in-class quality and service, and sustainable solutions.”
